After being served an eviction notice, I researched all attorneys that would be able to represent my family and I. We thankfully found Brandy Beltas, this was the best choice my family and I could have made. Brandy Beltas is a knowledgeable, strategic, and powerful attorney. I was represented better than I could have imagined. She listened to my case carefully and with her expertise helped me to win. I highly recommend Brandy.

The representation i have received from the beltas's office law firm is very very good. They responded on time with a very friendly and professional manner. I'm very satisfied and i gladly recommend everyone to check them out if you're thinking about filling for bankruptcy.

I had a great consultation with Brandy Beltas, and felt heard, supported, and informed. She was professional, thorough, and friendly. Also, the paralegal I spoke with was wonderful. All of this is especially appreciated during a very stressful time. Highly recommend!

Hi Brandy, I want to thank you and your office personnel for helping me retrieve my merchandise. Everything went really well. The banker was kind and considered. I found everything except two lights and one towel Bar. I not concerned about that at all. I even found my medicine cabinet. When I arrived someone was trying to buy it and the auctioneer pulled it off the auction block. Again THANKS! Happy Holidays! -G

Dangers of Renting Apt on AirBNB

Posted on April 9, 2016 at 9:05 PM Comments comments ()

Typically a landlord needs to provide a tenant a notice to cure - a warning - whenever a tenant violates a covenant in a lease before the landlord can begin a eviction proceeding in NYC.  However, there is new case law that a landlord does not have to provide one to a tenant who rents an apartment short-term (i.e. AirBNB).
